Tobacco Varieties:

Virginia Coker 371 Gold - Pelleted*
A favorite Virginia strain grown for cigarettes. Matures early, easy to cure.

3.50 US Approx 100 seeds:

Burley TN90 - Pelleted*
A standard Tennessee Burley strain grown for cigarettes and pipe tobacco. Medium to late maturing.

3.50 US Approx 100 seeds:

Burley 21
A fine Burley strain grown for cigarettes. The texture is favorable for producing cigarettes with a good draw. Matures early.

2.75 US Approx 100 seeds:

Narrow Leaf Madole LC - Pelleted*
The most popular dark tobacco. It has thin narrow leaves ideal for cigar wrappers. It is also used for chewing and pipe tobacco. Late maturing, easy to cure. May not perform well in cool cloudy climates.

3.50 US Approx 100 seeds:

Chewing Tobacco KY 171 LC - Pelleted*
This is a favorite strain for chewing tobacco, snuff, et. May be used as cigar binder or filler. It is a high quality dark tobacco with a coarse leaf texture. Medium maturing, easy to cure.

Monte Calme Yellow
Burley type developed in switzerland.
Typically used for cigarette tobacco, the large thin leaves are also ideal for cigar wrappers.

Raith Golden Yellow
This variety was previously distributed by the Scottish Amateur Tobacco Growing and Curing Association in Kirkcaldy,
Scotland in the 1950's Typically used for cigarette tobacco also suited to pipe blends.

Tilty Red
This variety was previously distributed by the Tilty Tobacco growing and Curing Co-operative based in Essex in the UK
in the 1950's. Typically used for cigarette tobacco also suited to pipe blends.

White Burley
This variety was previously distributed by the Scottish Amateur Tobacco Growing and Curing Association in Kirkcaldy,
Scotland in the 1950's. Typically used for cigarette tobacco also suited to pipe blends.

*Pelleted seeds are tobacco seeds coated with clay to make the seeds larger. The seeds are much easier to handle so there less waste from seeds getting planted too close together. Plain tobacco seeds are very tiny and can be difficult to work with.
